Public Transportation Equipment

Every motor vehicle, train including electric trains, ship of a National shipping company and aircraft belonging to a National airline company, which is provided for use by the public for a fee and has a regular route or non-regular route permit from the competent authority.

Law No. 33/1964 Article 3

PASSENGER LIABILITY

Every legal passenger of public vehicles, trains, company aircraft, national aviation, and national company ships must pay mandatory contributions through the entrepreneur/owner of the transportation equipment concerned.
Passengers of public motorized vehicles within the city are exempted from paying compulsory dues
Government Regulation 17/1965 Article 2
For personal accident coverage, each passenger of a public motor vehicle must pay a contribution for each trip.
The amount of mandatory contributions is determined by the Minister

OBLIGATIONS OF OWNER/OPERATOR/MANAGER OF PASSENGER TRANSPORTATION

Passenger transportation entrepreneurs are required to deposit the Mandatory Contribution that has been collected from passengers to the Insurance Agency appointed by the Minister.

Mandatory dues paid for shared transportation costs
The entrepreneur/owner of passenger transportation equipment is obliged to insure all the results of the compulsory collection of passengers and deposit them with the appointed Insurance Agency.
